Disclaimer: I am BLIND, damn it! A fact that does not lend itself well to photography. This is the best I can do and you should be thankful that I at least got those wiggly babies in the frame!
These are carrots in lieu of finger paints, and high chair tray in lieu of paper. Can't save the masterpiece but the paint is nutritious and the cleanup is easy!
I admit it. I go see them nearly every night before I go to bed and re-cover them (and make sure they are still breathing.)
I sort of use my Montessori-ish background and Montessori activities to do a morning session in their room. But it never goes as orderly as they say it should, of course! Here, Naim has stolen a block from Aaron's activity and is crawling with it instead of crawling after his rolly-toy. But he's smiling! So who cares?
Aaron has learned to sit, yet not to get into sitting by himself. He has learned to fall over to get to crawling, though.
Both kids are becoming more and more mobile each day. Here Naim lifts up to say "HI!" after doing the soldier scoot.
If only Abbey's tongue was made of "Wet Ones" and Johnson's Lavender Scented Baby Lotion
You can't tell it here, but Abbey is really interested in the fact that Aaron just pooped his pants.
Naim just started waving back at people. It's really cute. Notice Aaron, who shortly after taking this picture I had to run and rescue from being belted halfway down the corridor by a nurse coming through the doors.
No, I won't look at you, mom! Naims big round ball of a head is waay more interesting.
It was cold and grey, but the kids and I trekked up the cliff to spread Mara's Ashes. Then they were accosted by young volleyball playing admirers as we walked along the prom to the "dachsund house." We saw a grey kitty on the path as well.
I finally got my new sewing machine, the one with the automatic needle threader invented especially so blind people who think they can sew can thread the machine without three hours worth of expletives. I know no one cares about my new sewing machine...but Naim sure enjoyed the box it came in.
