Lighting a candle with you right now...

Emmie (Better Make It A Double)

I hope the virtual candle was better than nothing - I'm certainly with you in spirit. I'm walking over to the mantle where I am lighting a real one to keep you in my thoughts this evening.
May D feel better and get the care he needs.
May your Dad be a bit more supportive and less selfish.
May your kids get healthy so you can all go where you need to go together.
May your church continue to be supportive and helpful.
(((()))))

Lisa,

I am glad you have the support you do and sorry that your dad is selfish just when you need him most. He must be related to my mother.

I will be sending healing thoughts for D over the next couple of weeks.

Am thinking of you all. Hang in there.

Rina

Light, and love to you Lisa. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Gretchen

I hope things get better for all of you.

Thank you for the candle you lit for John.

Tonight, I will light one for all the things you mentioned in your post. And I will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts.

lisa, i am sending you peaceful thoughts and lighting a candle for you today... you are right about the sharing of joys and heartaches. it is good to have people who will help carry the hard stuff when our shoulders get tired.

if i lived near, i'd totally come visit and play with the kiddos for a bit :}

thinking of you and keeping D's healing in my prayers. is it OK if i add him to a novena i am doing?

love to you all

Lisa, I'm sorry this is all going on. It's so hard to see someone you love in pain. Who asks someone if their partner made it through the night? That's some kind of empathy disability right there. (Although, my boss said to me last week regarding the baby, after I had gone to L&D in the evening when the baby wasn't moving, "Yeah, well you don't want to get this far and have something happen." Some people are not very tactful.)(The baby is fine.)

Anyway, I will be thinking of you and D, and hoping things get better.

Lisa,

I will light a candle for you, and I will pray for D, and for all the challenges that you are facing. Love to you and your family.

Love, Laura

Angela

Family is such a pain sometimes
I will say a prayer for your candles

De-lurking for a minute just to say that I find your dad to be more than a little annoying. Can we arrange for some sort of sensitivity training? For god's sake!

I would sooo.... not be able to put up with that-- good for you for being able to set it aside.

I hope that between Sunday and now you did get some downtime, and that you're sleeping okay these days.
