A very nice photo !

I love how you've come to your own way of doing things that work for you. You know who you are, who your kids are and what your family goals are. What a great role model for the rest of us!

Thanks for sharing your perspective with us!

Lisa, You are brilliant! Thanks for sharing not only your, as usual, thoughtful and right on perspective but also all these resources. Thanks so much. I want to beef up the stuff I am doing with Ellie at home (because there is no way we are unschooling) so this is really helpful.

Also, I can't believe how big the boys look in this picture! It must be the summer air and sun because they look like they have grown alot!

Thanks so much for all this information!

Wow, synchronicities. I just came over to read your blog in order to relax after my first day of ... homeschooling my nine-year-old. I too am tempted by unschooling, but I too have chosen to go a bit more structured. Good luck. You have some adorable kids, by the way.

You are an amazing woman. I so admire your willingness to share your strategies and day-to-day tactics. I have been thinking about homeschooling and you've given me a great resource to flesh out my plans.

Lisa, can I be you when I grow up?

Also, wondering what kind of adaptations you've made to materials or lessons and interactions to make things accessible to you.

Um, what they said...

I am going to bookmark this entry to refer friends to when they are thinking about homeschooling. And lots of the sites look useful for enrichment for kids in regular schools, too. How do you find all these cool sites? Thank you for being so thoughtful in everything you do!

Sweet picture of the boys with their daddy! As always, thanks for sharing. :)

You can do it along with them!

It sounds fun. We are still pre-"unschooling" which is not always hitting every teachable moment on the head, but I'm giving myself until NEXT fall to get really serious. New baby and all that...
