I got all excited when finding this pretty rare old clip on YouTube. As some of you know, I'm a hideously insane Stevie Nicks fan. This is one of my favorite live performances ever. It is a song called "Angel" that Naim and I like to dance around to. He sings the words "Gooood" and "Meeee" and some others. At the end she says, "That girl was me" and he sings "Gah Wah MEEE!!" I'll get D to video it sometime so we can torture him with in when he is a teenager. It's funny. This song always puts me in a good mood. This clip is a section of some old documentary from, like, 1978. The live performance is at about 3:45 into it. But if you are a geeky-ass fangirl like me (or just a fan of platform boots), the whole thing is kinda interesting.
Oh, We're obsessing now. Here we have what happens when Stevie is loaded up on a boatload of cocaine. Oh, the good ole' days of my childhood. I remember watching this late at night while babysitting for the family with the good cable. Fascinating, she was. In honor of D who despite being bedridden for the past year has been dragged to more Fleetwood Mac Concerts than anyone from our generation should have to endure; if only so he can spend the whole night dissing Lindsey Buckingham. This is D's favorite clip of the night. (I quoth him, "What's she got there? Castinets?")
My sister, who has no life skills whatsoever, learned to cook and bought food she couldnt afford just so she could invite her friend (and his girlfriend Stevie Nicks) over for dinner.
Purely so she could call my dad and say "When Stevie Nicks was over for dinner the other night."
There, a story right back for you. And yes, everyone in my family IS crazy.
