I took pictures of the kids in the child care center at the gym today. I never get to see them in there because you have to ask permission to go behind the gate/counter. People can see the whole room, but I can't, so I never was sure what they did in there. Today I asked permission to go back there (which is no big deal) and take pictures. They said I could only take pictures of my kids. I understood this, but it made it hard! Other kids came up to me and wanted to be in the pictures! Hard to explain to them, "No, I can't take a picture of you because you aren't my kid and I don't have permission."
Anyway, the kids (mine) ran around acting like they own the place and seemed very comfortable there. They knew where everything was and seemed excited to show me their digs. So now I have a better idea of what they do all the time they spend there.
So I finally updated the photo album. I dumped a whole bunch of pics there, some you've seen before. I didn't bother to caption very many of them. The only ones that are missing are the ones of their first birthday and Christmas. There are also some cute ones of the kids and their Grampa B. (D's father) but he's asked me not to put him up on the blog, which is fine, but I've got those too just so you know, Grampa B. who I think is the only one of the in-laws left who reads this. Which is also fine. The birthday and Xmas ones are on my father's computer and I need to get those off of there when he comes back.
Many folks (relatives, friends, etc.) have asked me for pics of the kids and here is my new policy. I will email you any pics you want. You can also grab them off the blog by holding your mouse over the picture and clicking the save icon in the corner of the picture. Or right click the picture and select save picture. Then, you can either print them or get them professionally developed using a service such as shutterfly or taking a disk to somewhere like Costco. I'm not trying to be a beotch here, it is just that I can't afford to make prints for everyone and this is one way I can save a little money.
(Yes, I know I've made prints for Jo. But that is because she is my fake grandmother and has no computer and has never even used a computer in her life and she is 85 years old. If you are reading this, I'm assuming you have a computer and can access pictures yourself.)
We will probably be doing professional pics sometime this summer. I usually do not buy very many professional prints, either. Another way to save money. Again, those pictures will also be done electronically and will also be available to access on the site or through email by request. I'll let you know when we get those done.
Autographed 8X10's may be available next year.

I am legally blind and I am always asking someone what my son is doing. Kids are so much fun, but a lot of work.

Your kids are so cute! They have such shining little personalities, right through the photos!
And that is a nice playroom for the gym.
