My computer crashed a few days ago and wiped out my hard drive completely. I was able to salvage some stuff I had previously saved on another disk, but much of my emails for the last six months is lost.
I don't think I missed any email, and I have most of your addresses saved here in the comments...but if I don't respond to you and you sent something...it wouldn't hurt to send it again.
Did I mention that the 15 plus years I used Apple Macintosh products, this kind of stuff never happened to me? And this has happened to me now twice in one year? (Not the wiping of the hard drive, but the total crash of Windows XP, requiring re-installation. Service Pack my ass.) I converted because I was doing a lot of work for my former employer at home. Now, I will probably not be in the market for a couple more years, but my next computer will be back to the Mac.
I'm blind. My life depends on the computer!!! I cracked a tooth and can't even look up the dentist phone number without it. Have the folks in Redmond no shame?
That is all.
"Now, I will probably not be in the market for a couple more years, but my next computer will be back to the Mac."
I was gonna SAY...
I think the Apple fairy is punishing you, my dear.

Hmm - I typed a reply and it never showed up. Must be because my own PC is hosed, too! I need my PC to look up phone numbers, too.
